From May 13–15, 2025, FOBA will be presenting its new F.0100-ir ultra-short pulse laser at EASTEC in the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, MA—a compact marking system that enables deep black, non-reflective, and corrosion-resistant markings on metals such as stainless steel and titanium. Thanks to the adjustable pulse duration in the femtosecond to picosecond range, heat input remains minimal. This allows even sensitive materials to be marked precisely and gently.
The F.0100-ir is particularly suitable for applications in medical technology, electronics, and the automotive industry. Even after cleaning or passivation, the marking remains permanently legible. With marking speeds of up to 6,000 mm/s and a pulse energy of up to 100 µJ, the system significantly increases throughput while maintaining consistently high quality.
Thanks to its compact design, the F.0100-ir can be easily integrated into existing production lines or FOBA laser machines such as the M series. FOBA thus offers a powerful solution for demanding marking requirements – efficient, precise, and sustainable.
