FOBA at FMB 2026: From Labels to Laser Marking
At the FMB (November 3–5, 2026, Bad Salzuflen), FOBA will demonstrate how labels can be replaced by permanently readable laser markings applied directly to the component. The focus will be on the new Y.0602 fiber laser for applications in mechanical engineering, metalworking, and electrical and electronics manufacturing.
Multiple Component Layers in a Single Marking Process
The Y.0602 fiber laser marks components with varying heights, recesses, and steps without requiring the workpiece to be repositioned. A focus range of up to 99 millimeters allows for marking multiple levels in a single pass. This reduces setup times and the need for manual intervention while ensuring consistent marking quality.
Identify Components and Check Markings
An integrated camera system detects parts, aligns the laser, and verifies the marking. As a result, the Y.0602 ensures consistent marking processes even with varying part shapes.
At FMB, visitors can experience laser marking in live demonstrations and discuss their own marking tasks with FOBA experts. Consultation appointments and trade show tickets can be requested via info@fobalaser.com.
