Laser Marker NextGen Y-Series Fiber Laser Markers
Precision and speed for complex shapes and demanding applications – flexible marking on multiple levels.
Overview
The fiber lasers Y.0202 and Y.0602 from FOBA redefine precision, flexibility, and efficiency for direct part marking. The NextGen Y-Series has been developed for a wide range of industrial applications in metal and plastics processing industries – from automotive engineering to medical technology and the electronics industry.
Thanks to the market-leading focus range up to 99 mm, the systems enable multi-stage marking without repositioning – ideal for complex part geometries and varying heights. This reduces setup times and increases productivity.
The precise control of marking parameters provides high-contrast, material-friendly markings with minimal heat input and high process reliability. The optional integrated vision system ensures precise alignment, automatic adjustment, and reliable verification of the marking content in real time. Intelligent marking field compensation also ensures uniform markings across the entire marking field, regardless of the shape and position of the workpiece. With outputs of 20 W and 60 W and adjustable pulse widths, the NextGen Y-Series is optimized for high-speed applications. The marking lasers combine state-of-the-art laser technology with maximum cost-effectiveness – for optimum marking results and efficient processes throughout the entire life cycle.
Benefits
High-Speed Multi-Level-Marking
Dynamic, autoadjusted high-speed marking on multiple levels with up to 99 mm focal range for shorter setup times and greater efficiency in complex applications.
Engineered for Effortless Precision
Precisely adjustable pulse parameters enable accurate, material-friendly marking with minimal heat input.
Reliable Performance in Every Step
Highly dynamic marking, precise parameter control, and an advanced vision system ensure best-in-class quality and accuracy – regardless of the part's shape, height, or position.
Applications
Application examples for fiber laser markers
- Reliable marking of plastics, epoxy resin, foils, e.g. from electronics and automotive industries
- High-contrast markings, such as black markings on anodized aluminum
- Laser marking on aluminium and various metals (nickel, copper, brass, steel, titanium, etc.)
- Paint removal, for example for day/night design
- Dark, smooth laser markings on various metals, e.g. annealing on stainless steel
Fiber Laser in Action
Marking parts with varying height levels is often a challenge in industrial environments. Our new fiber laser series handles this task with ease: it marks across multiple levels in a single operation – with no need for repositioning or manual adjustment.
For you, this means reduced setup times, faster processes, and consistent results even on complex geometries. Whether your parts include steps, recesses, or varying surface heights – the system adapts and delivers high-quality marks where others reach their limits.
