Green Laser Marker

"Cool" and compact marking technology: 10 watt Vanadat laser with 532 nm wavelength for high contrasts and speeds when marking demanding surfaces

Overview

With the V.0102-gn, FOBA offers a laser marker in the green spectrum (532 nm wavelength) with low heat exposure. Thanks to 10 watts of laser power, markings are applied with superior speed and contrast sharpness to surfaces that cannot be marked sufficiently with other wavelengths. These include many white and transparent plastics, highly reflective metals and combinations of materials.

Even red or orange plastic surfaces, which often provide poor contrast due to their color properties, receive best readable codes and characters. The marking quality is also impressive on special plastics such as UHMWPE, HDPE and PMMA. In most cases, the Green Lasers also make laser additives superfluous.

The FOBA V.0102-gn marking laser bridges the gap between UV (355 nm) and fiber (1064 nm) laser systems, addressing the most challenging marking applications.

Product benefits

Smooth power for special substrates

Wether in line or integrated in a production cell, the Green Laser proves an extended range of applicability. So that critical surfaces remain intact while obtaining high quality marks.

FOBA workflow included

The Green Lasers can be easily operated with FOBA's full workflow package: Upstream part inspection, precise automated mark alignment and verification of the marked characters, enabled by the integrated camera.

Ultra compact design

Thanks to its extremely compact design, the laser head is not only fully compatible with all M-Series machines, but can also be easily integrated into existing production lines. The flexible configurability of the V.0102-gn allows the laser head to be adapted to the specific requirements of the production environment. For example, the cable outlet can be designed variably via three variants, the writing head can be mounted in two different orientations and the laser head can be installed both horizontally and vertically.

Additive-free and material-friendly marking

The Green Laser offers outstanding absorption efficiency in plastics, making additives superfluous. This means lower material costs, no compromise on performance and more environmentally friendly production. The improved absorption also means less heat is introduced into the material, which reduces the risk of deformation and damage.

Long-life laser source

The exceptionally long service life is one of the advantages that characterize our Vanadat laser source. With this robust technology, you benefit from minimal downtime and significantly reduce your total cost of ownership (TCO). Thanks to the extended service life of the laser source, you need to invest less in maintenance and replacement, which not only reduces your costs, but also maximizes the efficiency of your machines
