Marking on Laser-sensitive Coatings with a CO2 laser
For high-quality labeling of cardboard or packaging cartons, the marking field can be coated with a laser-sensitive lacquer. The additives contained in the paint react to the laser light with a color change. This results in high-contrast markings, usually in black on a bright surface, but also in white on a dark background.
Laser-sensitive coatings are white-opaque or colorless and can be marked with CO2 marking lasers at high speed. The process is very cost-effective in the long term and enables a high flexibility of the labeling.
