Laser Marking Goes Sparkling

Did you know that champagne sparkles even better in your glass with the help of sparkling marks? A little laser marked dot or circle on the bottom of a champagne flute helps to form small bubbles out of the carbon dioxide in the liquid which then sparkle and sputter. Not only champagne but also beer glasses often hold laser marked sparkling marks.

Calibration marks are there to ensure there is always enough in your glass. Glass manufacturers use FOBA’s CO2 laser markers not only to indicate filling heights but also for decorative elements like brand logos. High-quality premium cups and glasses can also be marked with UV laser which can mark even more sensitive surfaces.

FOBA wishes you sparkling moments when celebrating the upcoming holidays.
